As explained in the manual there are three versions of VirtueMart Catalog:

1. The regular version: $ 49.00
   This version creates a catalog from your complete webshop.
   The php source code of the component is encrypted.
   For most of the system operators this is the version you need.
2. The Pro version: $ 89.00
   Same as the regular version but with multi vendor support.
   This means a separate catalog is created for each vendor.
   For each vendor the frontpage and background of the catalog can be configured.
   If you’re running a single VirtueMart system for multiple vendors you’ll need this version.
   The Pro version also allows you to change the various colors.
3. The Developer version: $ 179.00
   This is the same as the Pro version but with readable source code.
   If you’re a developer and/or want to make changes to the php code of the component, you need this version.

The registration key that will be send to you after you’ve registered, will be connected to the base url of your Joomla system.
If you look at the screen of VirtueMart Catalog you’ll see on top “Running on…..” There’s where the base url of your Joomla system is visible.
Make sure to include this base url of your Joomla system with your order. Otherwise we will not be able to send you your registration key.
